.. The day after I took these images vandals climbed the scaffolding and spray painted graffiti on head of the statue .. Such a amazing icon ..The cariocas were not happy about this what so ever ..

..Amazing..one of the "New Seven Wonders of the World"...Christ the Redeemer... It's being restored now so unfortunately we weren't able to make the trip up Corcovado to see this wonderful statue close up.. I guess circling it with a helicopter will have to do ..
